Returns & Refund Policy

At Trendy Tees, we take pride in the quality of our custom apparel and the precision of our heat transfer vinyl (HTV) applications. We want you to be absolutely thrilled with your custom gear. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Custom Printed Apparel
Because every item is custom-made to order based on your specific design, color, and size choices, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for "change of mind" or if you order the incorrect size. Please ensure you carefully review your design, double-check spelling, and consult our sizing charts before completing your purchase.
2. Faulty or Damaged Items
We stand by the quality of our work and comply fully with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA). If your item arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or if the vinyl application is faulty (e.g., peeling upon arrival), we will gladly offer a replacement or a full refund.
To claim a refund or replacement for a faulty item:

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Email us at info@trendytees.co.za with your order number and clear photographs showing the defect or issue.

Once we review the issue, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/replacement.

If approved, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent out immediately or apply a credit to your original method of payment.
3. Care Instructions and Wear & Tear
To ensure the longevity of your custom apparel, especially those featuring specialty finishes like 3D puff, glitter, or metallic vinyl, please follow the provided wash and care instructions strictly (wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle and do not iron directly on the print).
We do not offer refunds or replacements for items that have been damaged due to improper washing, general wear and tear, or failure to follow the care instructions.
4. Order Cancellations and Changes
Because we aim to get your custom gear pressed and shipped as quickly as possible, we have a very small window for order changes. If you realize you made a mistake with your order, please contact us at info@trendytees.co.za within 2 hours of placing it.
Once the weeding and pressing process has begun, we can no longer cancel or amend the order.
5. Shipping Costs for Returns
If a return is required due to a fault on our end, we will cover the return shipping costs. We will provide you with a return shipping label or reimburse you for standard NZ shipping rates upon receipt of the item.
